How we deliver complex care
This is complex, 24-hour care delivered in the privacy and comfort of your own home.
A live-in carer supervised by a nurse will be with you 24 hours a day, seven days a week, learning all they can about you and your routines in order to offer personalised care.
You may choose when and where you require our support with our complex visiting care. Complex carers may visit your house twice a week or for many hours each day to provide you with the help and advanced care you require. All routines are totally tailored to your or your loved ones’ requirements.
Our complex respite care is offered to provide the primary carer with a break from caregiving duties. While you’re gone, we’ll make sure you have a carer who can provide the same level of advanced care that your loved one demands. Whether it’s catheter care or tube feeding, we’ve got you covered.
Day & Night Solutions cares for those who have swallowing issues or can’t satisfy their nutritional needs orally but have a functional stomach and can be fed enterally. The administration of a nutritionally balanced liquid directly into the stomach via a gastrostomy tube is known as PEG feeding.
We can help you or a loved one manage food and water intake while taking into account any dietary restrictions with daily feeding tube care. We can also assist you or a loved one with any drugs you are already taking.
Our nurse-led team is also aware of the hazards of feed and gastrostomy site bacterial contamination, which can cause illness and problems. We recognise the need to avoid contamination and infection by following universal infection control practises, which include:
- wearing suitable protective clothes.
- Hand hygiene that is effective
- Equipment and environmental decontamination
- Ensure the safe disposal of clinical waste.
The complex care team at Day & Night Solutions understands that adjusting to having a tracheostomy tube in place may take some time. We also realise it’s challenging to think about airway management and equipment care at home, whether you live alone or with others.
We are able to offer you the reassurance you require and boost your confidence by delivering nursing-led care, which is a critical support supplied by our professional staff. This helps to develop independent living. We try to ensure that individuals in need live as fulfilled lives as possible, all while getting our assistance in the comfort of their own homes.
Our well-qualified care providers can support:
- Changes to the tracheostomy tube
- Changes in tracheostomy tube tie
- Managing abnormal secretions
- Monitoring and supervision
Catheter, Bowel, and Stoma Care

This scenario may severely impair one’s quality of life, which can be a major source of stress. Knowing that our skilled teams offering complex care can help you live an independent, comfortable life may be a tremendous comfort.
In addition, our nursing care team’s experience is behind all we do, and each of our carers has received rigorous training to deliver a full range of continence care services in your home. You may be certain that every time we come to your home to help you, we will do it in a courteous, respectful, and compassionate manner.
